  • Maryland Association for Health Care Recruitment: Georgan R. Kline Scholarship for Nursing and Allied Health Careers.

The Maryland Association for Health Care Recruitment has established funding for two (2) scholarships: one Nursing scholarship in the amount of $2,000 and one Allied Health scholarship in the amount of $2,000. These scholarships are awarded in memory of Georgan Ruth Kline.”

    1. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis. This scholarship is a one-time award.
    2. Completed applications will be accepted by email only until the date of Monday, May 2, 2022.
    3. Applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decision no later than Friday, May 20, 2022.

  • Kudos to Early College Students!

Three of Montgomery College’s Early College students won theGrand Prizeat the2022 University of Maryland Info Challenge – Going Beyond Datanew windowcompetition.Matthew Nanas, Rohit Sharma and Aryan Anwar, members of the General Engineering Cohort of the Early College program at MC, presented the project, "AllSky Tool," an analysis of a dataset provided by the UMD Department of Astronomy. Their challenge mentor was Samantha Kemper. They participated in the competition that drew about 100 students from MC, UMD, UMBC and the US Naval Academy.
