MC's program is designed to provide you with the education and credentials you need to to begin a career in mental health/human services, transfer to a four-year institution, or advance in your current career. Mental health workers are active in such fields as psychology, social work, child welfare, health, family services, gerontology, criminal justice, substance abuse, therapeutic recreation, and education, among others.

The rewards of such careers are as great as the challenges. Meetings these challenges requires personal commitment, competence, and the knowledge and skills obtained through professional education. MC's program emphasizes a generalist approach to practice, enabling graduates to work with individuals, families, groups, and communities in a variety of human services settings.
