Building Trades Technology
Training in the building trades provides students with a comprehensive mix of academic and practical, hands-on training in areas of residential building.
Career paths include carpenter, plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, trade supervisors, code officials and builders.
Montgomery College is a member of the Registered Apprenticeship-College Consortium. Apprenticeship-related instruction programs include such trades as: carpentry, drywall, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, sprinkler fitting, and steamfitting. Montgomery College is a registered training provider for the NABCEP® entry level PV exam.
